I was really surprised by all the fake furs (and real Afghan etc) at London Fashion Week. I really liked this stripy one from House of Holland. Notice the "transport moving walkway" he used at his catwalk! Innovative!

More pink fur, this time like a vest/dress by J JS Lee. I love the Vidal Sassoon inspired hair, reminds me of The Beatles and Mary Quant in the mid 1960-ies! Yes, I was around then!

More fur! This more dressy and elegant, by Hakaan Yildirim. More tomorrow...

More spring at home today. Even though we had frost this morning in my hometown of Chipping Campden the sun is out and the birds was singing very early! That takes me to what is on here today! Above, an new arty cushion by Christina Lacroix home (Designers Guild. Add a splash of colour and art to your sofa or armchair!

Add some fruity zest to your floor with this fresh wool rug from Christian Lacroix (

As you have seen earlier here on my blog, Ikea has recently launched a new series of outdoor furniture in rattan and wicker, "Nipprig". Of course they work just as well indoors. The colours are green, black and natural! Visit your Ikea soon for your share! (

And finally, some lovely botanic fabric from Liberty, note the blue contrasting cushion! Going to London Fashion Week this weekend so watch this space for that!

Spring greens at String, the famous shelves designed in the 1950-ies and still going strong(er). This was part of their stand at the Scandinavian Furniture Fair in Stockholm last week!

Add some vintage French chairs to the Scandinavian designs with String shelves etc. White washed wooden floors gives that extra freshness and light to the interior.

Finally some new outdoor furniture from Denmark with warming fur...

I have been to the Scandinavian Furniture Fair in Stockholm last weekend. Lots of nice solutions on how to build a fair stand and more colourful than I expected. Nice. Yellow was surprisingly well represented. This sunny and happy colour has been trying to take a big role in both fashion and interiors and now it seems like it finally has succeeded! I have always been a big lover of yellow (as you have been able to see here on my blog) and it warms my heart to see it this spring not only to be worn but also to be used at home. Above, Scherlin who makes simple and practical items for the hall and office!

Källemo has always been a trendsetter when it comes to furniture design and colours. New armchair, "Chesty" in sweet powdery pastels!

More yellow, from lime to orange! Chairs from Ply Collection. More to come from Scandinavian Furniture Fair. Watch this space!

I went to Ikea in Bristol yesterday and was surprised to see the outdoor collection "Nipprig" already in store! Fresh and big collection of rattan and natural materials like cane etc in black and greens. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the store on whole. Messy and untidy and without any quirky or fresh interiors. Not much had changed since I was there in November! Even though they had quite a lot of nice new products that could have been displayed in a more selling and decorative way!  I will be back with more news from Ikea shortly etc.

Nice sunbed from the "Nipprig" collection.

A favourite in new clothes! "Frosta" foot stool is a Ikea Classic now in neon colours. I like!
