Do not miss the Missoni exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum on Bermondsey Road, Bermondsey, London SE1! From fashion to interiors. Follow this fantastic italian family´s way to fame and fortune?

A calming installation with rugs and cushions to use to contemplate the designs upon the walls.

Famous stripes and zig-zag patterns are the trademarks of Missoni. Ottavio was inspirered by art and architecture. Rosas family own the factory. What a brilliant marriage.

The fashion has been on the scene since 1953 and are still going strong.

Ottavio was very interested and inspired by graphic art. This is by him.

Some of Ottavios scetches of how the zig-zag patterns vere constructed. The exhibition runs until 4 September. Do not miss it!

London Collection Men started yesterday. One of the first to walk down the catwalk was Topman at their venue on Marylebone Road. Urban Cowboys, soft jersey à la 1970s and  boys that looked like they just came back from the beach and had a shower!

The bomber jacket is still on the scene. This in glass fibre! The theme colour for this show is grass green, and a colour to be expected for next summer!

Neo punk is here to stay...more from LCM tomorrow...

First of all, sorry for not having been here for a while. On -"holiday" in Sweden in my lovely house. Been working on a book project, more about that later (early July). The weather started off being cold and rainy but for the last couple of days it has been georgeous! Summertime! The island is still quite deserted and I have nearly had it to myself, hence the flower growing through this bench. Come midsummer and it will all change...

This is where some of the gardeners at Chelsea Flower Show get their inspiration from. This is for real. The wall use to stop the cows from moving around to much on the island. No cows today, and no farmers either. I love the ferns that grow all over the island.

Not such a good sign (means it is not healthy) for the tree. But beautiful colours! Funghis grow everywhere...

The paths on the island go through the blueberry forest! I cannot wait for July when they are ready to pick. Blueberry pies here I come...

The most common colour of the houses is this "Faluröd" (red colour from Falun. This house makes me think of Carl Larsson (famous Swedish painter and artist) and his house in Dalarna. I am going into town today and will leave the island but will be back soon with more from there etc...
