#LONDONSUMMER2017 #EXHIBITIONS

London in July! Not as stuffy or busy as you might think. Full of interesting and very good exhibitions, sales in the shops and all this lovely coffee shops, pubs etc. A walk in Soho, Covent Garden, Hyde Park, etc. Or why not go to the hippest place of all just now, Hackney! I can also recommend Little Venice, Barnes etc...Or just stay in the city and enjoy! Me myself is off to my house in the Swedish Archipelago next week for a month of my native Stockholm and Sweden. It has been a tough year with losses of friendships and close familybonds. All for silly reasons (in my view) due to attention seeking and money and lack of communication. On the other hand new contacts and friends has turned out to be very supportive and helpful! Thank you, you know who you are! More from Gåsö and me soon...here some tips about London this summer.
The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition is always a must for me and this time better than ever. Probably due to all the colour, which I love. Modern, expressive and graphic art. They are very good curators and this years "hanging" was better than ever...The Summer Exhibition goes on until 20 of August.
Colourful portraits, RA!

Curated and hung exceptionally well this year, RA.

From small to big work...RA.

Graphic art! RA.

From clocks to installations, RA.
Fashionista or just interested in fashion, do not miss the V&A Balenciaga exhibition, "Shaping Fashion". This Spanish designer did not just change the way fashion is shaped but still inspire young designer all over the world. Until 18 February 2018.

Pink Floyd have been honoured a retrospective exhibition of their unusually audiovisual history. Could have been extended with more concert views!

More from the Pink Floyd exhibition at the V&A, "Their Mortal Remain" until 1 October 2017.

Finally, having a brows and walk around Soho do not miss the new Rag & Bone shop at 50-54 Beak Street. Enjoy and see you soon! And please, let me know what you think about my blog and what you would like to see more of!

HAPPY #SUMMER, AND WHAT DO YOU WANT READ ABOUT ON MY BLOG?

Hi all and Happy Summer. As you might have understood I have taken some time off blogging lately. All due to personal circumstances and because I would like to know a bit more about what YOU, my readers want to find here. As you all know by now (I hope) is that I am a freelance journalist, interior- and graphic designer and write about lifestyle, from interiors to food, fashion and psychology... What would you like to see more off? How often should I write? Short or a bit longer? Any view will help! Please give me some hints. Above, at Llandeio Jazz Festival two weeks ago with the fun "Jazzabelles" from Wales. Hope to hear from you very soon.
