#SUMMERDESIGNWEEK #STOCKHOLM DAY 1

Watt&Veke showed new lighting and lamps in the Dagsljusstudion (The Daylight Studio) in the Old Town of Stockholm. This is were the founder, Monika Lindström, first started her business. A lovely setting for a preview of the new range. Could have needed a bit more attention to detail though.

Christmas preview, cushions with a strong Art Deco inspiration by Chhatwal & Jonsson at Ek Pr.

Selfie at Tres Pr in my whasp top by Cheap Monday!

Traditional table setting with a hint of the 70s at Tres Pr. More tomorrow and a full report from this week with trends etc next week!
Part of the ice cream parlour Kungsholms Glass on Kungsholmen where I stopped for a break!

#STOCKHOLM REINVENTED

Muji has opened their own shop at Åhléns in Stockholm City. The biggest Muji I have seen in Europe. They have half of the fourth floor at Åhléns City. From waterproof sneakers to interior, clothes and a fun interactive play area for the kids to places to relax and have a coffee (10Skr). They even sell some food and vegetables! Well worth a visit, more pics soon!

NK, Nordiska Kompaniet are undergoing a major refurbishment and will be the most elegant department store in Europe? Just take a look at the new Market Hall (Saluhall)and the new bakery/coffee shop in the PK-house. Cannot wait to see the final result. More to come soon. I am now off to Summer Design Week in Stockholm and will report here later today and tomorrow! See you then1
