I went to London Fashion Week last week, assigned by the Swedish Fashion Council. One of my favourite designers , even though crazy, are without doubt the designduo Meadham Kirchhoff.
They explained that it is partly because they have no social life that they "take it out" on doing colourful, quirqy and carneval inspired fashion. It looks like it is just to mix and match but if you try it yourself at home you will find that it is not that easy! The same goes with David Hockney....lovely colourful art partly done by using his iPad! A must see exhibition if you are in London (Royal Academy of Art). Do not miss to look at the films he has made showing there!
Made me think of Henri Matisse and Andy Warhol at the same time. Two thing that Meadham Kirchhoff and David Hockney have in common are the strong colours and the positive outlook...it makes you feel happy!
The bustier was present in most of the collections showing at London Fashion Week. Here Meadham Kirchhoffs version!
David Hockney, forests and nature. Colourful and happy!
This painting is huge! And fantastic to experience live! Go there!
Get her tips and ideas about interiors, fashion, food, travel etc. She is out there looking for trends and news, and how to make daily life a bit more glamourous.

WEARABLE FASHION AT LONDON FASHION WEEK
A lot of what you see on the catwalks @ London Fashion Week are not for everyday wear. But Lako Bukia showed fashion in black, silver, leather and see through fabrics in a wearable way, and without the wedged shoes that most shows have had (not easy to walk in and makes me think of Chinese women a long time ago that could not walk! I wonder what to read into this?)

Coolest (and cheapest) dress today@ HM!
Only £ 14.99 and the wonderfully crazy "wet ware" wedged shoes only £19.99, so of course I got them both! An animal printed scarf in black & yellow (£4 @ Primark) finished the look off! Cheap & Chic!

Having lunch at newly opened Oriel @ Heathrow T3. They used to be found @ Sloane Square in Chelsea, London but were closed down by the landlord cause he was not happy with the service he got when visiting. It was my favourite bar/rest in London. Happy to see "you " again @ Heathrow! Ps French brasserie.

ORANGE, TURQUOISE AND LIGHT BLUES...GO CAMPING IN A VOLKSWAGEN VAN
I just loved this tent, think I will get it and put it up in my "forest" by our house in the Stockholm Archipelago. And look at the "camping" bits put together at this "news exhibition" at www.formland.dk. Tent from www.themonsterfactory.com. The color mix feels new and fresh for this summer! Mix it with some birch bark!
Ethnic and modern! We found this combination at "Truly Tomorrow" trend cafe at www.formland.dk. A fresh mix of burnt orange, lace decorated table and recycled turquoise plastic basket.
Block colours, bright orange, pale turquoise and neon yellow. Mixed with some traditional Mex/Tex patterns it makes it feel new and eclectic...the VIP-room @ www.interiorsuk.com.
