#CHELSEAFLOWERSHOW #FLOWERS AND #GARDENS AND #RHS

Structural and very geometrical at Chelsea Flower Show this year. From "building blocks" in slate, concrete to wood. The typical English "wild" cottage garden is not in focus at the moment. Not so sure what I think of this...a bit too controlled for my taste...
Dan Piersons garden was the opposite and was actually a model of an historic existing garden (more about this later on this blog and on a special booklet about Chelsea Flower Show that I am planning to produce early this summer). Wild and full of "natural" blocks of stone etc. Lovely, like being on my favourite archipelago island in Stockholm - Gåsö!
Tea time was one theme and this is what Interflora did, giant cup cakes, teapot etc. Fun!
Press day is celebrity day! Joanna Lumley is a frequent visitor to Chelsea Flower Show. Here showcasing peonies etc.
This is just a sneak preview of what is to come, a booklet will be produced and a few more blogs published about this fab show. This fantastic Iris "Parisian Dawn" will have to present all the fantastic exhibitors in the big pavilion.
