In Sweden we have not only birthdays we have namesdays.... every day of the year has a name and one week in july has only girls names and is therefor called "fruntimmersveckan" (the ladies week). One of the names this week is Margareta which is my friend Louise´s middlename. Since last year she i throwing a girls party this day in her lovely boat house by the sea. We start by having a sauna and swim in the sea and then we enjoy the buffet (everyone brings something) and wine etc. Look at the lovely starters and sallad above which was follower by BBQ-ed fish kebabs and chocolade cake. Potatoe salad with rocket and red onion with a mustard dressing. Cucumber sticks with feta cheese and basil. Insalata caprese (mozarella, tomatoes and basil), prosciutto etc...already looking forward to next year...
