SPRING COLOURS @ HOME from DEBENHAMS and IKEA

Went to Stratford Upon Avon to have my hair cut (Matthew Curtis) and passed www.Debenhams.com and was positively surprised to see home ware in their window displays! A lot of inspiration from the 50-ies and 60-ies in a modern way. Very nice and well presented and good prices!

Among a few other more or less famous designers the well known wonder child Matthew Williamson had designed these cushions and a whole collection of bedlinen and towels. Flowery and full of butterflies.

One line, mainly china, is inspired by the dutch company Pip and Cath Kidston. Again, very well designed and good prices!

This was the more modern line, graphic designed cushions and wire shaped into candle holders! I could not resist them and got all three! £7 each!

And here they are, on my kitchen dining table ready for Sunday lunch! Black candle holders from www.Habitat.com, paper napkins from www.hm.com, runners from www.ahlens.se, water glasses from www.conranshop.com and black plates from www.hoganas.se-

I served slow cooked lamb shoulder with Dauphinoise potatoes and this attractive salad, original recipe by Nigella Lawson. Little gem salad with avocado and warm peas dressed with garlic oil, white wine vinegar, honey, and mint! Seasoned with salt and pepper! Lovely to any roast or lamb dish!

I went to Ikea last week and saw this mix of patterns! Striking!

"Bråkig", a temporary and trendy collection by www.Ikea.com. Wallpaper, fabric, cushions and china and Frosta footstool with matching colours. Hurry, when it´s gone it´s gone!
